You don't need to find luxurious restaurants to enjoy authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Sometimes, just a cozy space, steaming baskets of har gow, a smoking bowl of noodles, or a flavorful portion of black bean sauce chicken feet is enough to create a complete meal with family and friends. If you are looking for a place with a beautiful space, a diverse menu, and suitability for large gatherings in Can Tho, Tieu Nhi Quan is a name very much worth considering.

Compared to the first branch, Branch 2 has been invested in on a significantly larger scale. The space is spacious, with a capacity of about 100 guests, and tables and chairs are arranged airily, creating a comfortable feeling even when visiting in large groups or with family.
The restaurant is decorated in a Taiwanese style, with red tones combined with wood as the main theme. Lanterns and many eye-catching decorative details create a vibe that is both cozy and lively. The overall environment is clean, airy, and quite suitable for dining, meetups, or weekend gatherings.
The parking lot is also arranged quite spaciously, accommodating both motorbikes and cars. However, during the evening peak hours, the crowd is very large, so the parking lot is sometimes overloaded, especially when there is only one security guard assisting with parking.
The highlight of Tieu Nhi Quan is its quite diverse menu, featuring many familiar dishes such as har gow, dumplings, noodles, char siu rice, steamed rice rolls, black bean sauce chicken feet, siu mai, and many other snacks.
Har gow remains a must-try choice thanks to its fresh filling, harmonious flavor, variety of types, and beautiful presentation. The dry noodles also leave a good impression with moderately chewy strands and an accompanying broth that is light and not too salty, making it very easy to eat.

Char siu rice and steamed rice rolls are two dishes highly rated by many diners thanks to their rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced taste.
The black bean sauce chicken feet are seasoned quite richly; however, the feet still have a lot of tendons, are a bit chewy, and contain quite a few bones, so they will be more suitable for those who love the traditional style of chicken feet.
The siu mai is slightly small in size, but in return, the filling is fragrant and the ingredients are fresh. Meanwhile, the fried squid siu mai and chicken feet, although still delicious, are considered to have a rather high price point compared to their portion sizes.
Fried dumplings are a dish that still draws mixed opinions. The filling is seasoned a bit salty, and the wrapper feels different from the fried wontons previously served, so it hasn't truly stood out as expected.

The serving time is relatively fast, ranging from about 10 to 20 minutes depending on the dish. During crowded times, the staff is quite busy, so the welcoming of guests might not be truly attentive. However, the ordering and payment processes are still carried out quickly, and the staff wear neat uniforms, creating a professional and unified impression.
Because the number of guests in the evening is usually very large, especially on weekends, booking a table in advance will help save a significant amount of waiting time. If you walk in directly during peak hours, the waiting time for a table can be from 15 to 30 minutes.
