My friend and I in different time zones

My friendship with Noah is something special. When I start my day in Hanoi, he is getting ready for bed. We can almost never talk in real-time. But we turned OVFRIENDS into a time-spanning voicemail box. Every morning when I wake up, I receive a long voice message from Noah, telling me about his day that has just passed. And before I go to sleep, I send a similar message back.

Our friendship isn’t measured in hours of video calls but in the patience of waiting and listening to each other’s voices, even when we are a whole day apart. It taught me that true care is not limited by space or time.
